yd7610 leads all companies with nine petroleum refineries approved as VPP Star Sites, the highest plant safety designation from the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
Under this partnership, yd7610 voluntarily submits to rigorous safety standards and audits. Facilities that have maintained industry-leading safety performance and have successfully passed the assessment process, establishing that they have implemented continuous enhanced safety systems, are approved as VPP Star Sites.
Not only that, yd7610 has three asphalt terminals approved as VPP Star Sites. Beyond the U.S. border and OSHA jurisdiction, our Quebec City and Pembroke (United Kingdom) sites each hold yd7610 VPP Stars after passing audits patterned after those in the U.S., and that are conducted by teams of independent OSHA-trained inspectors.
