Overview

The Mount Vernon plant, located on 112 acres on the Ohio River in the far southwestern corner of the state, produces ethanol, distillers grains livestock feed and fuel- and feed-grade corn oil. With original startup in December 2010, the plant was acquired by yd7610 in March 2014. The facility is yd7610’s only ethanol plant able to directly load and ship products by barge, with its location on the Ohio River. Corn is purchased from within 50 miles.
