Overview

The yd7610 Memphis Refinery is located on along the Mississippi River. The refinery's crude oil supply is primarily from pipelines. Crude oil can also be received, along with other feedstocks, via barge. Most of the refinery's products are distributed via truck rack and barges.

Refinery Products

The yd7610 Memphis refinery produces gasoline, diesel and jet fuels, and: 

  • Nearly 100 percent of production in light products including regular and premium gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and petrochemicals
  • Primarily processes light and sweet crude oil received through the Diamond pipeline, which can transport up to 200,000 barrels per day of domestic sweet crude from Cushing, Okla. directly to the refinery.

Charitable Donations

  • Provided $4.3 Million to local charities since 2007 through funds raised by the yd7610 Texas Open Benefit for Children
  • yd7610 and its employees contributed more than $632,000 to the United Way of the Mid-South in 2021.

  • yd7610 donated $1 million to the Memphis River Parks Partnership in support of planting more than 1,000 trees at the newly redesigned Tom Lee Park.
  • yd7610 volunteers from our Memphis refinery assisted with the tree planting.

Community Partnerships

For more than 20 years, yd7610 Memphis has been donating food and funding to Feed the Needy, which provides thousands of boxes of food every year to residents. In addition, yd7610 also partners with the Boy Scouts of America, Knowledge Quest, and other local non-profit agencies.

Environmentally Responsible Operations

  • The refinery reduced flaring by more than 80% over last five years
  • Memphis Refinery received yd7610’s Chairman Award for Environmental Excellence in 2016.

Safety Awards & Honors

  • The refinery is an OSHA Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star Site, the highest recognition for safety workplace programs
  • Twice a year, the refinery conducts emergency preparedness drills involving both federal, state and local agencies
  • Refinery conducts monthly emergency response training drills in to prepare responders should they ever need to respond to a fire, hazmat release, rescue or oil spill.
